Look closely, and you’ll see a pair of dogs, carved in cottonwood, peering over the top deck of Luis Tapia’s 1976 “Noah’s Ark.” From the collection of the American Folk Art Museum in New York City, we caught the piece on view at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.
