🌎 Today's #WITWW = War Correspondents Memorial in MD's Gathland State Park. It was built by 19th-century journalist George Alfred Townsend to honor reporters who died while covering the Civil War. A newer marker there is for journalists who died as part of the War on Terrorism.

🌎 Always on the lookout for new #WITWW locations, Yonder found himself at this rural memorial arch, now on the grounds of a state park. Built in 1896, it had a companion plaque added to honor individuals who died in 2002 and 2003. Where was Yonder? Answer revealed at 5pm.
